I got a phonecall from work today. My first thought was, "Aw crap, they want me in tomorrow don't they?"

Actually, no. The shop's closing down. Holy credit crunch! I've been made... redundant!

And here I was with my notice to quit all ready to hand in. Saves me the hassle, I guess. Life is so weird.
