I just want to go home.  I'm in such a bad mood right now and not getting any work done.  I feel stressed out, even though there's nothing to be stressed about.  I don't have any big deadlines going on or anything.

Do you eat breakfast? I drink a protein shake right after I wake up, it really helps. I'm up and out of bed at 7am, but it did take a week for my body to adjust. The trick is to just keep making yourself get up and go with it.

I don't right now. I've gotten the stuff to try and have some cereal every morning if nothing else (I've really been craving milk lately, so I figure my body is telling me I need it.)

I know that's a factor... but I'm thinking maybe the humidity in my apartment is part of it too. I wake up with a scratchy throat, burning eyes, and irritated nose and an incredible thirst. I'm going to get a humidifier tonight and see if that helps matters anyway.... but I'm also going to really try to eat breakfast. The problem with breakfast has been I feel groggy and icky that I don't even want to get up to fix it.

If you like chocolate and peanut butter, try this: 1 package of Carnation instant breakfast, 1 cup of milk, 1-2 tablespoons of peanut butter, blended together. It has a lot of protein and a good amount of calcium. It tastes really good. You're supposed to add a banana as well, but I think it makes for a gross combination, so I eat a banana after I've finished the shake.

Body builders drink that (instant breakfast + banana + peanut butter) after they work out because of all the protein. It's actually healthy and really good for building muscle.

Eh, I don't really like peanut butter. And I don't want chocolate that early in the morning.

I like the cereal, and it's just as quick to make, I just haven't made it.
