Day Two.
July 5th 12:45 noon Cali time.
So Dave and Paul are painting and re doing flagstone today.
I am experiencing my first real Cali sun. And well clear blue skies.
Earlier I was taking my shower, and shaving my legs- and well I’m sitting there pretty happy, and all the sudden "Hey Maggie!" Dave is outside the FUCKING window. I almost flipped a shit. But then I remembered, "Oh I'm okay with this." and kept doing what I was doing. With him out the window of the shower. Their friendship is weird; they act like a married couple, almost like the two guys in chasing Amy. Real interesting movie by the way.
Still around 1:00, well more like 1:35 in Cali. Still painting, I started drawing... (Sketches not included in this version.)
The house is the onion color of the art studio walls, I just want to crack open my oil paints from last spring and do my own self-portrait on the walls. We’ve got Mr. model checking out the house in a bathing suit pose. Me in a pink tube top, shorts and a French braid. I’m deff an east coast girl, oh well I like being from the east coast. They all don't get how I like my trees and little hills but it’s where I grew up. I love it there. I'm enjoying the clear blue skies and the nice clean air. But I still like my coast, with its cold water and everything.
4:50 PM- still sunny, still the same, finished the house. Painted black on the calk of the windows. Dave slept. Then proceeded to make fun of the ct trees. Yes its green Yes its got trees, yes I love it there on the east coast. Screw the west coast and its permanent blue skies.
