(no subject)
I realized this Sunday, when I saw ladymarian at faire, that seeing her was made even better by the fact that I know what she's been up to lately (new job, the saga of Handsome Tom) because she updates her LJ! This realization was compounded by the surprise appearance of alexsirkman and a contingent of Sirkpersons, who clearly had no idea I was working there because I've been living under a rock, internet-ly speaking. So here's the quick version:
I will be at the New York Renaissace Faire for its remaining three weekends, working at the Lundegaard booth when I'm not singing with my awesome group the Flirts of Fancie. (I know I'm not on the website, but I'm on the new CD!) On weekdays I take off the cape and don the glasses to become a Digital Marketing Assistant for Macmillan Publishers (this is a very new development! yay job!), while crashing with supertailz, with whom I am looking for an apartment. This means I'll be in NYC full-time for the foreseeable future, which also means that I'm newly not-dating-artimis_lebeau, although we remain dear friends and Buffy-buddies. My parents finally moved back to California. My brother has a ponytail and is now a junior at The Putney School in Vermont. My current mood is deeply ambivalent and highly caffeinated, and I would love to see you -- yes, you -- when things settle down a bit.
Seriously, I think this delicious Cuban coffee is doing strange things to my tongue. Too much caffeine?
