Nimrodel sits up and rubs her eyes and looks around. There are layers of dust everywhere. She searches the Crystal Waterfall Palace, quickly becoming frantic as she realizes she can't find Merin, and the gardens are overgrown. She begins to suspect that she's been in a coma for some reason. She sits down and begins to cry, wondering what she's missed and what has happened to Merin. Finding that her horses are running wild in the field beside the Palace, she finally convinces Cloud Dancer to let her ride him and sets off to find someone to fill her in on what's happened, and if anyone knows where her sweet dragbit is.
