i got the rest of my life of fred merchandise in the mail yesterday afternoon. it really made an otherwise mundane day all nice and spick-sun-span shiny. everything came out great. i was a little worried about it because for now we're going through cafepress (because our audience is smallish) and we don't oversee any of the production process. i've ordered things from them before so i wasn't nail-biting worried, just a little nervous because it was more important now, bigger than past projects. at any rate, i need not have worried about it because everything came out fabulous. i think the bumper sticker is still my favorite, but the mug, shirt and pin all rank a tie at a close second. the quality of print on such a tiny little pin is amazing, and even though fred's head is like a half a centimeter big on it it's crystal clear. the mug came out fabulous! all the lines are nice and clear and crisp. the women's shirt graphic is awesome, if i do say so myself, and i do, the black is a little faded but it kind of gives it a nice pre-washed and cozy feel to it. i dig it. i'm wearing it tonight. what's even nicer about it is that as far as women's and girls' shirts go, it's pretty long, and yet nice and fitted. i hate shirts that show your belly every time you move your arms. this is tested. i put it one, rose my arms way over my head, shook around, did a little dance, no mid drift. nice. anyway, maybe on the next purchase i'll get fred a guy's shirt to go with that mug i'm giving him. he already has a life of fred shirt- one i made special for halloween. an original! but i really think, somehow, that fred of all people should own every single life of fred shirt out there. so, yeah, i'm excited. yay!

now, at some point i'll get on making lj and aim icons for the world! mwa ha ha. luckily those are small and do not take as much time as shirt designs. i could fit about fifty lj icons in a shirt design. that's a lot of icons.
