Jun 20, 2006 20:01

Ever wondered where spacecraft such as the Voyagers and Cassini are? Well, many of these are tracked by the NASA Deep Space Network, the facility in charge of controlling and communicating with many robotic missions.

It has sites positioned at 120° around the Earth to maintain full time contact as required - California, Madrid and Canberra.

You can see, for example, what the latest positions and velocities of the Voyager missions are, and their fuel and energy consumption.
