Everyone is a snail compared to Sonic! XD

DKC was the one where you played as Dixie and the other monkey was Kiddie. You had to save Donkey and Diddy. It had a map where you could reach the different stages with a variety of vehicles and find secret bonus mini games, instead of the classic island where you have to climb further up to reach each world. The map was creative but I guess I just didn't want to let go of the DK classic island. I think it won an award for best challenge in the SNES or something. (Which doesn't mean it was too difficult, but difficult enough.) At least that's what the magazine said that old anniversary edition Nintendo Power I no longer keep. It had a list of all the best games. Chrono Trigger won as overall best SNES games. I remember DKC3's award because it surprised me since I found it easier than the other DKC games and I finished it with all the secrets including the Queen Banana Bird without cheating. But then again "best challenge" does mean impossibly difficult... maybe I just found it easier because I owned it and I had to rent the other 2 so I didn't get as much practice. Oh yes, there was a time in the past when I played without cheating back when I didn't live with a billion plot bunnies. :o And I obviously don't cheat on RPGs even now.

I thought Breath of Fire I was okay. I liked Breath of Fire II mostly because Katt is so funny but it always got glitched and I never finished it. :( I had to stop at the final part of Sten's home land. Breath of Fire III was fun especially because of Rei. Yet another worren (tiger person) in my favorite list. I lived the entire sprites on 3D maps thing. Then I got stuck in button mashing mini game of all things. I never hit the button fast enough apparently. -.- I played a bit of BFIV but yeah the maps, I got lost in a town, the view sucked. C'mon tare down some walls so I can see where I'm going! Plus the worren was old and disappointing. I wanted a tiger bishounen like Rei. D:

Random: Katt kind of looks like Starfire and has personality similarities too, plus they both wear purple.

Yes, 7UP is owned by Pepsi. :D

Yeah, but bubsy even more so...like even compared to mario or a whole bunch of other platformers.

Hm..perhaps they meant it was just right in terms of challenge. Not too hard, not too easy..but rather the most balanced? If a game is too hard, then it tends to just plain suck.

Breath of Fire I and II were on the SNES, right? I think I only played III and possibly a bit of IV...but it would have been like..a 3 day rental type dealie.

Hehe...know who else wears purple? Kratos. *doesn't take him seriously, partly because of that* XP

It didn't particularly bother me. I guess it's because I used to play lots of SNES games so I've seen slower characters.

I think that was it.

Yes, and they are also on the GBA.

From Symphonia? I think he's cool XD I'm on episode 4 of the anime now.
