Hikou gave me cake! Thankies! It' so cute and chocolaty *.* mmm chocolate!

I beat Star Fox 2 it's way easy. I think I'll try a harder mode and play around the atmosphere for a while before charging into enemy space station. Well it was a beta game, maybe they were planning to add stuff later but when people online finished it (debugged and completed what was already started) they didn't really change the challenge, number of planets and such. Maybe this difficulty (or lack of) was for testing purposes, the world may never know... XD Still it's such a fun game! I'm going to play it again. ^.^

Bishounen: You probably already noticed but yeah, Dante made it to the top ten. Reno is first, the others change all the time. To commemorate this events I give you an extensive fangirling obsessive rant of doom about bishounen:

Reno from Final Fantasy VII

and in no specific order...

Chika Akatsuki from Zombie Loan
Seto Kaiba from Yu-Gi-Oh!
Genjo Sanzo from Saiyuki
Dante from Devil May Cry
Future Trunks from Dragon Ball Z
Magus from Chrono Trigger
L Lawliet from Death Note
Dekar from Lufia II: Rise of the Sinistrals
Gaku Namikiri from Absolute Boyfriend

Ryoga Hibiki from Ranma 1/2
Riku from Kingdom Hearts
Axel from Kingdom Hearts
Sephiroth from Final Fantasy VII
Suigetsu from Naruto
Shikamaru from Naruto
Sakuro from Summon Night: A Swordcraft Story

Hot Reno aka Ren-cake

The obsession started with Advent Children, I didn't even like Final Fantasy VII before then. I played the original game and a few other FF games later. Final Fantasy I, II, IV, I, VI, Tactics and Tactics Advance. I tried VIII but the entire garden plot reminded me too much of a generic high school anime and the summon system wasn't to my liking. The plot of the other FF games besides VII lacks the sci-fi that made me lack VII, thus I simply think they're okay, no more than that. VII is special and I admit I sometimes which it wasn't called "Final Fantasy" because it deserves a class of it's own instead of just a number in a series of games.

The first version of Reno I liked was the AC version and that's still my favorite, though I can also appreciate the original. He kind of falls into the category of the "bad guy" who isn't realy bad, the guy's just doing his job give him a break. As you might already know those "good villains" are often my favorites, they seem like some of the most balanced characters instead of being hero good or totally evil. He just amuses me, he's so fun and glompable, plus he's a Turk and I like the entire secret agent thing the Turks have going on.

Before I watched AC, which was my first FFVII experience, I had heard of and liked Sephiroth. Sephy just stands out even to people who are clueless about FFVII as I was for a long time. I didn't expect Reno to become my top favorite and I was unsure for some time but now I'm totally Reno obsessed and Sephy comes second. Another random odd fact is that Loz was at first my least favorite guy from the trio and now he's my favorite silver trio boy. He's cute, more cute than bishieful maybe, he just has that chibi aura around him.

Fun Chika aka Chi-kun

He reminded me of Reno. He's an amusing character and full of surprises. He's carefree sometimes and money obsessed, but there's also the side of him that's scared to be immortal (or rather losing his humanity because of him) which is somewhat a "contradiction" or unusual combined with some other characteristics. He's stubborn and has a big mouth but he's still has that certain loyalty to his friends.

Tech Seto aka Bishie-kun

Tech geek, business geek, he's perfect. Quite often he jumps ahead of Chika in the list until my Zombie Loan obsession is revived. I guess we can call it a draw. I love tech geniuses, need I saw more? It was also because of Seto that I met Laria, who introduced me to Windy. I wouldn't know them if not for him.

Pretty Genjo aka Goldy

When I first saw Saiyuki it was Kougaiji that caught my attention and I went "squee elf!" because with his long ears he looked like one. Later it was a battle between Hakkai and Sanzo until Sanzo won. He's kind of a good guy who's not the hero type, more like he was just pushed into the role, there's that combination of not being a good-goody but not being evil either. His hair is pretty, h's pretty ^_^

Nummy Dante aka Sundae

A recent obsession. Always thought he looked cool, and I confirmed it watching the series. He's obsessed with pizza and ice-cream, how cute and I find it cute. He can be lazy and cocky but that just makes him more amusing. Over all he's just cool.

Shiny Future Trunks aka Trunky

An early obsession. It was actually my obsession with Vegeta and Bulma that got me started with fanfics, which got me started with web design, which started my love for computers and the rest is history. It was that first site I had that got me invited to a web ring. Lain spammed said web ring with invitations to Cyberia Cafe and that's where I met Snow, Cherri, Matt and Lilli. When Cyberia started having down time I made RPGalaxy and I think that's how I met Estas, Jonathon and many others. Both Lilli and Estas gave me the link to Gaia which is where I met Xinda and many others. I found FoS via Google so there were no bishounen involved in that story. ^^;;

Mysterious Magus aka Jan-Jan

I remember hearing it was declared the best game for the SNES. I love Chrono Trigger, it's second only to FFVII. Magus is my favorite, he has a nice back story that stands out more than any other story in the game. He has that mysterious air as if you can't quite tell what he's plotting. Magus rocks!

Genius L aka Cheesecake

The adorable sweet obsessed detective! We both dislike wearing socks, love sweet and don't like sleeping. He never said anything about sleep but with the bags under his eyes it's obvious he doesn't get much. He's a genius and it amuses me to no end.

I've also been told I sit strangely when working, not like L but in a way most would be uncomfortable. If I must read something, or write something by hand, I feel trapped in a desk. I just sit and hold the book/notebook on my lap, one leg over the other and use my knee to support the book. I only like using a desk for the comp, any other time I don't like desks.

Knightly Dekar aka Sir Knight

The heroic clumsy knight. He is the hero-hero type but he's a clumsy hero which balances that out. He's cocky and overconfident but manages to come out on top. Somehow he always ends up being rejected by women and then goes on to say that his love is his sword in an I didn't want to got out with you anyway attitude. XD

Amusing Gaku aka Special Edition

I didn't read the entire Absolute Boyfriend manga and have not seen live action Gaku so I don't know if I'll like him yet I have a feeling they probably ruined him in the live. I got bored with how slow AB's plot was moving and so I don't know much about him but he seems pretty easy to figure out. He tries to sell the company's products and dresses as if he was cosplaying. He's just amusing.

Adorable Ryoga aka Lost Boy

I could go on with my rants... There's Ryoga and how he's just so adorable always getting lost. I feel hi pain because I have a very bad sense of direction myself and some of my getting lost stories you won't believe.

Other favorites include Riku and Axel from Kingdom Hearts. Riku has the entire being light and dark thing and Axel is a lot like Reno but also awesome on his own.

Sephy is like the bishie king, I don't know why but even if he's not my #1 I can totally see him as king of the bishies and who doesn't know his coolness? nuff' said.

Shikamaru is smart and lazy and adorable, or he was. He grew up a lot and I kind of miss "what a drag" Shika but meh. Suigetsu is my newest ninja obsession. He carries a large sword but he's not quite used to it and it tired him, he's adorable wanting to drink water all the time when traveling. I'm not too fond of water but Suigetsu is too cute. He has a mischievous chibi aura to him.

If I go on I'll never shut up (or stop typing) Sakuro from Summon Night: A Swordcraft Story is another favorite. He's the knightly type which has been catching my attention lately, but not the perfect knight type. He has a curry obsession and cares very much about tiny details for a nice amount of amusement. I so need to replay this game it's another of my too favorites.

Ok, ok I'll shut up now...

bishounen, star fox, videogames, anime
