Yesterday and in the morning of today they were upgrading the electric station. So of course they had to turn it off. It doesn't need upgrades, it's electricity, it just needs to be there! D: It better become stronger against those big yellow-sky thunderstorms! (yeah, that's yellow skies right in the middle of the afternoon when they should not be yellow) They said it would be off at midnight until 6 in the morning. Well it was off from 1:30 until 10:30. I went to be at 2am (hey it's summer vacation). I had woken up at around 9-9:30 that day to take care of some paper at collage (I have to go back next week). I usually get up at 1pm and go to be at 4am (again, I'm on vacation). So if I got up more than 2 hours earlier I'll be able to sleep 2 hours earlier right? After all I got less sleep so I should be tired, right? Wrong. I hardly slept at all. Lack of electricity, even if it's something that was announced, makes me feel horrible and hence I could not sleep. Some may think it's the lack of AC, but it's not the temperature, it's the uneasy feeling of not having something I love. Normally I would sleep through the morning but now that I really wanted to sleep to avoid boredom I couldn't. I went to sleep at 2 but I'm not sure at what time I actually fell asleep. Woke up around 4, stayed awake unable to sleep for a while, then woke up again around 6. Stayed awake for about an hour, then the next time I woke up it was around 9. I couldn't sleep anymore after that. I got up at 10:30 when the electricity returned.
