My conclusion? Accidentally reproduces an argument someone else has already made. That someone? Jay. I read his article last spring, and haven't actually used it during the thesis process, given the weirdness of citing one's own advisor's work, but I'm'a have to get over that one real fast, because there is totally a note on my conclusion being like, "This argument? Mine. Cite the damn article." Object lesson: things creep into your consciousness.
