Fairfoot 2.05: OUTTAKES!

Last time, in the introduction chapter for the second generation... We read in Othello's words how his father Pippin died, and what happened afterwards when the family was mourning. Then.. spring came, and a new cycle began. Trust me when I say that the family did not remain in mourning for long...
--- This is totally canon! There is just no way this would have survived into the tenth generation, so I'm taking a little break from the "plotty" chapters and writing this up in old-fashioned god-mode legacy style narrating. ---
For starters:

Teranika has met an interesting man on the streets. I figured I'd start looking for possible suitors... But this one probably won't be hers, as he's my own Sim, and I'd like to marry in Sims created by others.
He's called Mertyne Cloud and will feature in more pictures of this little update :)
She's also confirming to us here that her dad was definitely an alien!
Adrienne did this only a day after Pippin had passed away. I thought it was so cute.
Also, see that gypsy lamp tucked away around the corner? I've never gotten one before, but I'm saving this one a bit for a special occasion. The family earned it when Pippin did a lot of hobbying. I had him write a novel so the family could have an actual "Diary of P. Fairfoot" :)

Yep, we're still on the first day after Pippin's demise... See, they got over it pretty quickly!
Actually, Drew had been queueing up the "First Kiss" interaction with Adrienne for days, but I kept clicking it away. He took advantage of the new situation!
Drew was very eager to console her... Although it was more Adrienne who did the consoling..
[Thankfully, she didn't get pregnant.]

Teranika was NOT pleased about the whole affair. Drew actually kept heart-farting over both mother and daughter, but he was very mean to her.
That was the cue for Mertyne to tell him to lay off and keep away from Teranika. Aww. I do love a romantic man. I was imagining him to step up for her because he fancied her himself.
But while that was true... He also had a nice brotherly conversation with Drew about Teranika's hotness.
Mertyne: She has THE most gorgeous eyes I have ever seen.
Drew: I know right?
Drew: She actually doesn't look much like her mother but damn, is she hot!
Mertyne: You've got a point there, man.
This looked so ridiculous I just had to take a picture of it. You can swoon all you want my dear, but you can't have her, until she's at least a couple of seasons older! Gosh. I think they might be three-bolters with all the stalking going on here o.O
See what I mean? Stalker!

Right, heading over to the other romance. I love Drew so much, even if his habits are a bit odd. His creator is Engram -- thank you so much for this lovely loon, Engram!

They are so full of each other... It's actually kind of sweet to see Adrienne find love in another man. Don't get me wrong though, her relationship with Pippin was also very good until the very end. I drew it out a little for the drama. They only got a little distant, because she mostly kept away from him as she didn't want to get ill..
(Although there actually was this one beautiful moment when Pippin was sitting at the table, and Adrienne was cooking or cleaning the sink, much like this picture from chapter 1.3. They hadn't interacted in a while and they suddenly both got thoughtbubbles with the other in them.. It was so sweet. I failed to catch the moment, though, so I tried to recreate it for the picture.)
Aww. Lovely Drew. It's kind of a shame I won't be able to use him as a spouse in future generations now! I don't yet know what's going to happen with the two of them. They'll probably keep seeing each other, and if Adrienne happens to roll up any wants to bind herself to him, who am I to deny her? I hope they won't have too many babies though, I'm happy with two, and any kids they pop out won't be heir anyway.
And to round off this random update: a cheerful picture of Penny's Isla walking by! She's always trotting over the sidewalk and making happy gestures. Love her. :)
