Oooh, new pictures! :) Very pretty again. I really like the town hall, and the lighthouse on that little hill is so cute! I've been admiring the terrain in all of these posts, have you made it? Either way, I think you've made the most of it, the whole town is so atmospheric! :)
:) Thanks! The terrain? Oh, no! No, not at all :) (I did edit a Maxis terrain to create the new Tinn terrain, but that was my first gamble at SC4!) The terrain is Plasticbox', it's called Middleground and can be found at MTS, complete with houses. But it's wonderful indeed! I did decorate the hell out of it, although I think some of the trees might still be original to Plasticbox ;) But many of the houses are his too! I just put everything together in a way I found pleasing, and I am very happy you think so too! :)
Is curios because every time I see your pictures is like I almost feel the fresh breeze of this little town and, some times, I imagine birds singing also - ehehe - it's true! :)
Thanks! For now, it's for looks.. But there is a little "classroom" in the left wing, with two microphones to teach the audience skills or badges. So I imagine there could be classes given by a professional businessman or somesuch. It could also be set up as a conference room. In the right wing, there's an office for three people, but that's of course nothing but looks. One desk might be for the mayor, one for the head of law enforcement in the little town, and one for the head of education. They are all rather fond of sports. :)
Wow, the first picture is so pretty! (Of course the others are too but if I had to pick my ultimate favourite, it would definitely be the first one.) I really love the Town Hall. You should start uploading your houses :)
I think it is mine, too. There was a very similar picture in my previous post (unavoidable, I guess - there are only so many angles that one can take a pretty picture from!) but I think it comes out a little better on its own. :) As it is, all the houses in Ambleside are actually Plasticbox's! I have only built a couple of community lots, and that school cottage. But if there would be any use for my buildings in other people's games, I would be more than happy to pack them up :) (Is there any building that you in particular would want? ;) )
Oh, I would have never guessed that the Town Hall is created by Plasticbox! It's so full of your awesomeness and really looks like yours.
I don't think I've any particular houses in mind because I've loved them all :) But I would definitely download them if they were available for download and I'm sure others would love to use your houses too.
Oops, it seems I've been misleading you a little! Sorry for that! I did build the Town Hall, as well as all the community lots such as the park and the Chapel and the Uni buildings. But it's all the current residential lots (except the school, which is why I used the term 'houses' :) ) that were built by Plasticbox. I used many of his little apartment buildings and town houses. :)
When I finish the Uni Headquarters it might be interesting to put it up.. That seems to be something universally usable. Because you know, I think that community lots like some I made for Ambleside are a little too specific for my town, to be useful or wanted by others. That's my main concern.. I don't know about others but I am personally very picky about what lots I put in my game :)
Thanks, Tenielle. Criquette's work is so simple and so pretty. I wish I had room for some of his larger buildings, but New Ambleside is such a tiny town. I also wish he'd come back just to release those horizons he's teased everybody with! :)

Aww, you are too sweet! That is the most wonderful compliment. I would love for it to be so real that I could live there!

Is the town hall just for looks? If not, what kind of things will it be used for?
