aaah wonderful sunny day in paris *smiles*

woke up not too early, not too late; went to see "the taste of tea", ("cha no aji") incredible japanese film by katsuhito ishii *still in awe* (looking around for infos about the director, i see i got a movie from him that i haven't seen yet! "Sharkskin Man and Peach Hip Girl" mmm might have a look at this tonight...) day was starting real nice. god, this film, i admit i was more than dubious and perplexed during the first 10 minutes but i so didn't regret it!

every character had their own little world and so much individuality, yet at the same time they all shared something special. quite a few scenes had me surprised (in a good way), wondering for a few seconds what dimension i'd been thrown into, it was amazing. the end was the apotheosis, i couldn't help grinning it was so beautiful.

the little girl was, ok adorable, but also perfect for the role. the crazy grand-father made me laugh so hard, and the dancer-guy *speechless* i think his name's okada yoshinori [edit] apparently not. damn, i couldn't take my eyes of him, so impressing he was in his body movements. and *squeee* shinji takeda was in there too!!! (mmmm "tokyo eyes" *yum*) damn, i don't even know where o_O and now i realise he was soji okita in "taboo" *shakes head* (and i so loove okita...)

i loved them all... crazy but great.

mmmm then was a sunny moment in front of the centre pompidou with camille. we both bought the last tome of parakiss and went back at mine to eat bread, cheese, delicious ice-cream and chocolate. last weekend of the holidays, we decided not to care about anything else but enjoy ourselves. ok exams approach fast. who cares.

nice nice day *happy*

now is my big dilemna : on the 28th of may is the only performance of the opera "turandot" by puccini, directed by none other than the great zhang yimou. i got my ticket, i got the friends to go with... why, oh why must the big concert of the festival aucard (that i've been looking forward to for a year) take place the very same night???? this isn't fair, now i have to choose *pouts* ok, ok, if i wanted something educational, i wouldn't hesitate one second. but it's definitely not at the opera that i'm gonna drink, smoke, dance like crazy, scream at the top of my lungs, roll in the grass with friends (probably strangers too) and so on... all of which i could use before the exams... and maybe before i go to korea for a year! *big big dilemna*

ah well... i'm tempted by both, i guess i'll decide on the 27th. anyway.
(mmmm, + for the festival, olivier will probably be there, not that my decision depends on him, not that i care that much, no no no...)
