Darla fics? and some meta
I read this wonderful Darla/Lindsey fic by woman_of_ Is This Hell? the other day.
And now I'm in the mood for some good Darla fics. Vamp, human whatever.
I know that there's many people in the fandom who doesn't like Darla and she's sadly not in a lot of fics. But I love her. I think she's a great character both as evil vamp queen and as troubled human.
She was evil as a vampire not just to humans but to her own family, even to her 'dear boy' but again SHE WAS EVIL! It comes with the territory.
And thinking the life she lived when she was a human the first time around it's not that strange that when she finally became a vamp she saw her chance to screw over all the men and people who screwed her over when she was alive.
I think that when Angel got cursed with the soul she found herself getting screwed all over again.
Angelus had probably been the first man she'd ever allowed herself to have some 'real' feelings for. Feeling she could never have for the Master, because Angelus was hers. She made him to be the perfect 'mate' for her. That's why when she became human and was pregnant with Connor she felt the same connections, only now they where 'soul mates'.
Okay so this turned out to be a little more meta then I had planned.
