Gosh

definitely been an interesting couple weeks. Pulled a boomerang bounce back and hopped from one group to another, that i'm honestly actually enjoying more! I gig thursday up thru Monday each week, which is an absolute blast to be out playing so much finally. They jaam, i'm encouraged to solo (imagine that), I'm doin well.

So last night, I'm playing at this place in dade city, great place and people. The type that know how to clap after every song and get up and dance. The ones that stare at you like a movie screen, yeah i'm over those. (on a side note i took the most incredible solo of my experience last night, i must've just blacked out and channeled victor wooten and jaco pastorius 'cause i was GAWN) anyway, after we're done playing i'm driving from 30 some odd miles away to get back home before this hurricane hits, but to make life interesting, i'm on a quarter tank of gas. So i drive about 8 miles before i realize all the tackle and bait places don't offer gas, so i turn around and barely make it to a gas station BACK in dade city, before turning back around and driving home. clearly, the story isn't over, because the 30 mph gusts of wind against the side of my car made the highway drive all the more exciting! Tha didn't stop me from blaring my music and singing at the top of my lungs. I was pretty happy. Not sure why.

My singers family is so, over the top cool, type of family that actually sits down together at dinner each night, shares stories from the day, laughs from the belly (ya know the real laughs). I don't know too many families outside my own that are that close and tight knit. A great christian household.

Here's to new beginnings! cheers!
