Racing to a Photo Finish
In a few hours, we should know who the other Vice-Presidential candidate will be. The rumor de jour says the governor of Alaska and family have flown to the city where the announcement will be made. That would be about as history-making a choice as Mr. Obama's run, in that the governor is a woman. (Do I hear, "well, it's about time!"?) As a matter of fact, she was once first runner-up in the Miss Alaska contest.
