Well, it's been a while since I've updated. Not that I don't love you people, but I'm sitting on my ass somewhere without a chance of falling asleep. This will be the first week in a while I don't work at least 50 hours. So... here's my life all categorized for your convienence...
Work: It's coming along fantastically! Currently I am working at Arena Stage as a followspot operator for Cabaret, She Loves Me, and then Peter and Wendy in the spring. I also work freelance for Atmosphere Inc (they do corporate events, big gigs, concerts, shit like that), overhire for Shakespeare Theatre and Signature Theatre. I'm working on finding a full time job, but I'm keeping busy. I'll always have work to do, I'm sure of it. Arena is a great place to work, everyone there is nice (except Krissy who likes to make people cry, but she's still cool).
Relationship: I like someone I work with. He's got a girlfriend. :0( But other than that, it's sort of stalled out because I don't have enough time to go out and meet people and mostly everyone I work with is gay, married, or otherwise unavailable. I've had a couple of dates, been stood up, couple of creepy/strange guys, and then some that weren't anything to call home about. My Grandmother prays for me that I find someone.
Habitational: My roommate pisses me off a lot. She leaves dishes in the sink for days on end, bitches about coming home late (2 minutes after I walk in the door at 11:30pm and I left 10 minutes before she was getting up in the morning), and really doesn't do what I feel should be her share of the house work. One Thursday during tech, I got home at 1:30am, I had been gone since about 8 that morning and hadn't really been home all week. I walked into the kitchen to see the dishes from Saturday still in the sink. About 2 weeks ago, I found some cockroaches or bugs that looked like roaches. I was ready to kill her. And I mean kill. And that's not all.
General: I'm happy. Never thought you'd hear me say that, eh? So what if I'm single, my roommate pisses me off to no end, and the cats are irritating. At least I'm living on my own, working, making ends meet, and hockey season has started. The Pens won last night too, which really makes me happy. Anyway, I'm gonna go and work on my resume a little.
