Sometimes, it's like a movie...
Yesterday my best friend Federica was in Padova. We had a fantastic day, watching Sherlock Holmes (BBC).
But before going home, just after she arrived at the train station, I said "let's have a walk", and we reached the center of my city (five minutes by tram).
We were walking to one of the main piazza, I was looking for a scarf, and guess who was coming my way? The chief manager of the Disney Store!!!
WTF!!!
You know, like in movies, I saw the scene in slow motion.
Me, talking with Federica.
Turned my head, smiling.
I saw him walking my way.
He looked at me, then looked away.
I looked in front of me.
No thoughts, no words, nothing.
Just walked, while Federica kept talking.
Then everything returned to the normal speed. And I turned back, watching him in the distance.
I grabbed Federica's shirt, angry.
"That was the f***ing chief manager!!!".
I was petrified. Slow motion is real! LOL!
