Leaving in 3 days, counting today.

I had everything staged to pack in one carry-on suitcase, then my MIL came over with a big Macy's bag of CANDY.  She claims that her family loves chocolate, and that I have to take a huge bag for each of them.  So I now have to:

1. check a full-size suitcase
2. risk having my luggage lost

I have photos from my trip but it's going to be a couple of days before I can post them.

Parking at school sucks, and I'm going to start taking the bus again.  It took me TWO HOURS to find a space yesterday.

What is this summer va-ca-tion you speak of?  I'm spending my summer taking extra classes and studying for the MCAT.

The vacation pictures aren't uploaded yet, but here are the pre-vacation beach photos.  They closed the port until about 5pm and it was evening before we finally got on the ship.

Category 4 hurricane + camping trip =/= happy campers...I hope I get my money back if they close the park and cancel my reservation...

So we had our vacation.  It was pretty uneventful.  We found a bunch of shells, saw birds and porpoises, Mum made us a bunch of stuff to eat, and her and Jessica got along pretty good.  One of Mum's clients sent a birthday cake for me, a heart-shaped pink strawberry cake!  It looked like Barbie birthday cake!!  But that was ok.   Another client ( Read more... )

You can't see me, but I'm doing the "finals are over and I'm free for 5 weeks" dance.  Well, not really, since I'm in the quiet study area and dancing would be frowned upon, but I'm dancing inside.  Because FINALS ARE OVER!!!
