18 Feb - Finally getting some bits of decent writing done.
19 Feb - A Bible verse from a friend posted on Facebook: "Unless the Lord builds the house, those who build it labor in vain. Unless the Lord watches over the city, the watchman stays awake in vain. It is in vain that you rise up early and go late to rest, eating the bread of anxious toil; for he gives to his beloved sleep." Psalm 127:1-2
20 Feb - Working from home in the afternoon, after Xixi's promotion lunch at Holland Village.
21 Feb - My last lecture for the semester! (Except for a combined lecture with my co-lecturer during the final week, in about 7 weeks) And wearing my pretty batik cheongsam (which felt uncomfortable tight a few weeks ago)
22 Feb - Lunching with my parents when my dad was there for a routine check up
23 Feb - Having a couple of hours to myself (to have a slow lunch and shop) after taking my students on a field trip (Berlayer Creek, Labrador Nature Reserve, Keppel Bay, Harbourfront).
24 Feb - Watching my dad show Thomas the long golden snake (made up of yellow lanterns) CNY decoration hanging above the street at Chinatown.
