a thousand kisses from you is never too much...

Ok, so I just made a really tough decision that will affect the next year of my life.

I have decided to commute to school...

and live at home until I find a roommate and an apt. in the greater baltimore uurrrrea.

:-/

Pros:
~save lots of money! (ie on housing, groceries, laundry, unneccessary expenses of living away from home)
~will force my parents to get me a car sooner...or help me pay for my sister's car ;)
~will force me to get better grades
~i will be able to get that 2nd job in westminster that i needed...maybe at Michael's?
~social life will not get in the way of grades
~will see home friends more often
~if i decide to get an apt, maybe with Jess or someone, i will have even more freedom than living at school housing
~i can re-paint my room and actually get to enjoy it, since i will be living in it
~living closer to Danny
~later curfew than before (yessssss)
~not having to lug all my stuff out of the house and into the apt. and vice versa
~'setbacks' always seem to have a maturing effect on me...hrmmmmmmmm

Cons:
~not getting to see Danny at optimal times, and not being able to be out as much
~turning 21 will be a little anti-climactic...what am i gonna do, drink with the parents? :-/
~not getting to see friends that live in housing ie: Pat, Amanda, Becky, Meg, etc.
~no more shuttle...wait, that is a pro, nevermind!
~having to make the 1 hour trek in bad weather :(
~gas $ is so damn expensive
~lack of privacy...having to live with the parents :( :( :(
~lack of being 15 min. away from school
~have to better plan free time to use for doing work in mac labs
~limited computer access at home...dialup and whatnot
~greater distance from Baltimore, my love in life!
~harder to get scholarship hours; won't be able to attend gay 'housing events' (oh well heheh)
~my parents will force me to go to church again (AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!)
~will be harder getting a tattoo...dammit
~will be harder hanging out with myspace people that I may choose to meet...parents will freak out and worry about me hanging out with 'people from chat rooms' lol...
~will lose connections with a lot of people who live in housing

Sigh...but it must be done. In good news though, all of my scholarships have been renewed! So I will use the surplus money for books, art supplies, and gas $. And my car<3...hell yes I am gonna have a Volkswagen, granted it's not brand new, but it's a 97, in pretty good condition, and it's a VOLKSWAGEN! Be jealous! So what if I'm the last person ever to drive, I get a sweeeeet car. I am gonna rub it in everyones' faces!

So despite the hard decision, and the argument my mom and I got in today about religion and friends and stuff, I think it may be the best decision.

Comment!
