i went for a long walk in the afternoon. after walking past the castro, then turning up on noe, then somehow ending up in the mission, i found myself finally back in hayes valley at arlequin where i felt most at ease to sit down with a cup of coffee and write. it's funny how particularities work like that.
i'm still having problems with the final render of TGD, but i'm passing the project onto some friends to look at. i'm not an export when it comes to the final appropriate file codecs and transfers and such, and to be honest, i'm feeling burnt out in all departments when it comes to the film -- so it's time for someone else to figure out what the mess is now. not that i'm wiped my hands clean of the film. it's just time to work on something else for now.
finally saw hannah & her sisters. i did a scene from that film once for a directing class, playing the role of holly. of course, me and my scene partner were no where close to woody allen territory, so it was wonderful seeing the original in its wonderous entirety. woody allen makes new york seem romantic and wonderful. which it can be. i'm hoping when i head over there at the end of the month, it just won't be quite so cold. i've grown much used to california warmth.
