Watching people is one of my personal habits. But I think one of the most interesting places to watch people is the road. If you ever want to see the most apparantly righteous, upstanding, model "american dream having" citizens go bad, watch people drive. It's a generally accepted rule of the road that the more you pay for your car, the faster you can drive in it. Got a BMW? Add 5-10 to the speed limit, and if you get pulled over show them your bloomfield address and maybe you'll get out of it right there, say you didn't realize you were going that fast, but that you have somewhere important to be (which is verified by the fact that you drive a car that indicates you have more important places to be than the average escort driver), and maybe you'll get out of it there, and if all else fails, what's 100 bucks for a speeding ticket. You're already late for whatever you were racing to get to -- even if it's just Lifetime on your Projection screen in your personal home theater. I guess my biases are bleeding right through this journal entry though...
