So I'm really, super nervous.
For those who don't know...I have a tonsilectomy scheduled for this Friday.
I'm pretty much freaking out.
While the problem is most likely an infected tonsil...it is possible that I have lymphomic cancer. So. Great. I guess....
The funny part was that at first I wasn't worried at all. I mean...I got my appendix taken out, so we know I dont' have bad reactions to anesthesia.., and it's such a minor surgery in comparison.
Let's look at why I'm nervous now.
- Oh yeah. That was the worst. I threw up and ripped out my stitches. Don't eat anything that'll sting coming back up- girl in my class.
- Oh...don't be surprised if you need longer than 10 days to recover. - professor.
- Then you're going to die- Blake
-After about a week the scabs will form - pamphlet
-I need to warn you about the other thing that this could be-doctor.
So what have we learned?
When you find out that you're getting surgery...keep it to yourself.
