Moving into foxridge with Skye and Dan was one of the best decisions of my life. Anytime I need someone to talk to, they're totally right there. Also they are both clean and fun. okay. enough going on about that...but compared to every roomate situation I've had....this is the best.
Playing world of warcraft is addictive. I guess that's a little like saying "oh yeah. that heroin shit. pretty addictive". I have a level 14 Tauren Druid (nildrohain) and a Level 9 nightelf Rogue (Glanconer). they're sooo cute. I love my little characters. You should see my nightelf do her little jump-y thingy. it feels my heart with glee.
Radford is better than tech. I was skeptical at first as well. but get this. attractive buildings, random pretty add-on's whose only purpose is to be attractive (koi ponds, gardens) and lots of big beautiful trees. The atmosphere is nice as well...our teachers are concerned about us...as individuals. I already know most of my professors pretty well and honestly think that they are looking out for my best interest. The class discussions are interesting as well. overall...much more positive experience.
I quit my job at Echostar.
on the one hand...I'm a little dissappointed in myself. I feel like I should have been able to balance being a part time employee and a full time student. But I couldn't. I couldnt' handle never ever having a day off (until christmas. seriously. no weekend).
that part of me is completely overwhelmed by how great I feel after having a weekend to work on my homework and get my shit in order for the upcoming school week.
