Freezing rain. All day long. Half the city is without power (fortunately, I am not in that half--yet), and my back yard is littered with small branches that have broken off trees due to the weight of the ice.
Unfortunately, I last week I decided that it would be a great time to start an experiment that requires me to come in every day and weigh mice. Mice are the only reason I went in today. Mice are the only reason I have to go in tomorrow. Not class, not lab meeting, no. Weighing 25 mice. Actually, tomorrow I have to weigh and inject them, so tomorrow is slightly more important.
It's a good thing that I'm within a half-hour's walk of lab. Shoveling snow, walking in snow... Winter weather is providing a pretty decent workout regimen for me.
