NaNo NaNo
My NaNo word count is at 26,020 after today's session. That puts me over the 50% mark!
I'm finding that I don't really feel verbally limbered up until about 1500 words into a session. Once I push past that, I feel the flow take hold. Still, I'm trying not to write too much in a single session because I don't want to burn myself out.
Sometime around day seven or eight, I stopped looking over what I'd written previously. Every now and then I check back to see if I got a name wrong, but that's it. It's liberating, somehow.
I'm also taking advantage of the writing practice to finally, finally get some composing done for Kiril.
