based on the agreeing responses to last night's post i want to issue a challenge to everyone on my friend's list who is disappointed in the takeover of twitter/tumble/facebook and the rapid disintegration of the once beloved livejournal network. it is a call to arms for everyone who wants to see livejournal restored to its former glory ( Read more... )

I don't think I can commit to part one, but parts two, three, and four are very do-able! I will calm my ass down on tumblr (and bring the fangirling back to lj, oh lawd), and I really ought to comment on people's posts more anyway, and there are defs some people I've seen around but never spoken with that I'd like to add.

I support this so hard, which probably makes me a hypocrite since I never post anymore. In my defence, I never post anywhere anymore, and I sure as hell ain't using fucking Facebook.

I don't know if I can actually do this, cuz I despise writing, and I am so busy lately, but I have been thinking about doing one of those "post a sketch a day" things. Admittedly, dis is a bit hard since my scanner is incompatible with my new computer (die windows 7), but we shall see.

This is a great idea, Bry! I'm all for trying to restore the lj community since I think it was a lot more fun and engaging back then. I'll do my best to participate (posting daily will be a slight challenge for me though! XD) and I'll make a post about it in my new journal real soon!
