Ok so...
So, I promised I would write about what I was hinting at before and I have neglected the journal. But it's late, I'm awake, so I shall update now.
What I was talking about before is a job opportunity. The managing director of the Bristol Valley Theater has resigned and I am applying for the job. The reason for the secrecy (though most people that look at this actually already know this whole mess) was I needed to think it over and talk to some people about the whole thing. So I sent in my "big boy" resume (you know... one that isn't like the theater one). I just heard from Karin today and I am in the top 8 of those being considered of the 32 people that submitted resumes. So now, my resume has to wow and impress a group of board members, and then I have to interview for the job. So with any luck, by December I will be the managing director of BVT and getting paid good money to work in a year round theater job.
Speaking of jobs, I hate Hots and I almost wish I wasn't working there.
But because I am working there, I am able to coach hockey which started last Monday. We have our team all selected and our first game is tomorrow against McQuaid. Which should be interesting. we've only had two real practices and god knows how well the guys have come together on their lines so far. But here's to hoping we start off the games better than the practices. We had to bench both our backups for the last two practices because they missed Friday's practice without telling us why. For this, they had lots of up downs to deal with, and the beginning work on the full splits they will be able to do at the end of the year... I is evil.
Little Women is in full swing. it's going pretty good so far and my cast is such a warm and kind group of people. always smiling, always saying hello, thank you...it's so great.
I've lost all my energy, and my will to keep writing. Wish me luck on the job, because if I get it, everyone's invited down to Naples for a kick ass house warming party where there shall be booze a plenty!
