And now for the real update!
I was going to just update my icon request post, but since I like doing things the hard way, this seemed more fitting.
I said I would update you all on the Folsom Brawl tournament, and basically, it's like I posted before. I went in there playing as King Dedede (whill be now known as "D3"), and he was cleaning house. He cleaned so much house, other maids/butlers were like, "dayum." I ended up losing in the top 8 to a highly skilled pair of ice Climbers, and i keep replaying what I should've done in my mind when I close my eyes. It's painful, but it was still fun. In the end, the guy ended up losing in the final round, which made me so ANGRY. Chris got all the footage, and I can't wait to see it all. Oh, if only I won! I also can't wait for the midnight release tournament at Gamestop.
Or at least, I could if they would fix their rules. 1-minute rounds are not the way to have a tournament. I suppose it's because of the enormous amount of people they're guaranteed to get, but still, not cool. I plan on sweeping it up at GS, therefore taking out my frustration of losing in SF. Dammit, I could TASTE that New York trip, too!
CGC this friday at SFSU, and I think I have a date, too. How odd. Another online meeting, and she seemed interested off the bat. She also wanted me to teach her how to play ghamez, too (my wording, not hers). Hopefully this won't be one of those chance meeting things, and then "see ya never again" type of things. But then, I plays it cool.
