When Olivia suggested going ice fishing for Family Day Natalia thought she must have been drinking. Who would want to go sit in a shack, on the ice, and in the dead of winter? That’s right Natalia married a woman for all seasons. So, Natalia was up way too early for a holiday preparing for their day. “5:30 in the morning…argh…what fish are only awake early in the morning, this is ridiculous.” The kids wouldn’t be with them this year as they alternate every year with their dads.
“Great just great the kids get out of going on the adventure, but no I have to be the loving wife and go freeze my butt off.” Natalia mumbled while preparing their cooler with food and drinks they would need for the day. Natalia jumped as arms snaked around her waist.
“Good morning baby, ready for our day?” Olivia leaned forward and placed a gentle kiss on Natalia’s neck. Natalia’s body instinctively leaned into the kiss causing Olivia to moan slightly.
“Sweetie if you continue to do that I am going to take you back upstairs and we will not be going anywhere.”
“Oh that is sure not happening I have been looking forward to this for weeks.” Olivia moved away to grab her coffee from the table.

An hour later they were well on their way to the lake. Olivia sang along as music played. Natalia watched as the city disappeared, she sighed as the fate of the day was fast approaching. I must really love this woman, what am I doing? Natalia was jarred from her thoughts as the car slowed.
“Olivia what are you doing?”
“Driving out to the ice shack.”
“Oh, no you are not. We can park and walk to the shack.”
“Baby we will freeze, don’t worry it is safe the lake is frozen over. Look out to your right there are cars by the few shacks.”
“That may be but I don’t think we should.”
“Trust me everything will be fine.”
“It is not about trusting you it is about the ice breaking and us going under water.”
Olivia stopped the car at the edge of the lake. “Talia look at me.” Natalia turned in her seat to face the woman that held her heart. “I promise everything is safe, I would never put you in harms way. Okay.”
Natalia Grabbed Olivia’s hand gently squeezing their entwined fingers. “Okay but can we take it slow just in case.”
“You got it babe.” Olivia leaned over and kissed the side of Natalia’s mouth. She is too cute I love her so much, and I love kissing her. Her unique scent drives me to distraction. Moments later they reached their shack. “How do you know which one is ours they all look the same.”
On the door it has a name Lewis, yep this is Josh’s. People put their names on them so they can set up their shacks close to people they know.”
“Well that is smart.”
“Yep it is. Now let’s get your sexy ass out of the car so we can unload and settle into the shack.” As Natalia walked towards the shack with her arms full she put an extra sway to hips knowing that Olivia was watching her. Natalia heard things dropping from Olivia’s arms and smiled as she entered the shack. Natalia looked around and was surprised to see a heater in the right corner. On the left was a single bed and in between along the wall were shelves with supplies. Natalia started to move forward but was stopped when she felt arms wrap around her waist.
“One more step and you would be fish food.”
Natalia looked down and saw a hole about two feet round. “Well that is a dumb place to put a hole, is Josh trying to kill us?”
Olivia tried to stifle her laugh. “No baby that is the fishing hole.”
Natalia moved around the hole and set their things down on the bed. Olivia moved around the shack getting things ready moving two chairs close to the hole. “So…now what do we do?” Olivia gave Natalia a pole and showed her how to put the bait on the hook.
“Now we drop the line into the hole and wait.”
The women spent the next hour sitting waiting, they talked about their week. Their conversation flowed. “So how long do we wait?”
“Well it can take a while to get a bite, that’s what makes this relaxing.”
Natalia rolled her eyes. Well I’m bored the first fifteen minutes was fine but now I am cold and hungry.
“You are shivering baby are you cold?”
“Yeah a bit but I will be fine.” Olivia moved to get the heater from the corner of the room. She turned it on and faced it towards her love. “You should be better in a few minutes.”
“Olivia what are you doing, the ice is going to melt and we will fall in.”
“Sweetie the ice is more than two feet deep. I think we would have to be here for days with the heat blasting for it to melt. Now don’t worry.”
“If you are sure, would you like something to eat?”
Olivia smiled and raised her eyebrow. In a sultry voice she said. “I could eat.”
Natalia blushed as Olivia’s eyes raked over her body, instantly Natalia felt a pool of moisture between her legs. “Olivia! That is not what I meant and you know it. Let me get us something to eat while you catch us some fish.”
Olivia saluted Natalia as the younger woman walked towards their food. “Yes ma am!” Olivia sat watching Natalia move around the shack getting their breakfast ready, it had been too early for them to eat before leaving this morning. “I’m bored…we have been here forever and no bites. Can we leave?”

“Come on Olivia you got to admit it is pretty funny, you are just lucky I got here before Bill, Phillip, Jeffery, and Buzz. All we would have needed was Alan and all your exes would have had a show.” Just as he said that cars started to approach them.
“You better keep those guys out here and out of sight until I can get my wife calmed down and in the car. And Josh don’t even think of telling this story over drinks tonight with the boys or your balls will be bait.”
