crossing the fingers
OK- so since the last entry things have gotten better.
-My car was finished on Monday afternoon- I got to pick it up and then Jeff and I drove around his parent's neighborhood for like 30 minutes just stopping and going to see if it would die. It didn't.
-The Kokomo Chrystler man who helped me before called on Tuesday and said how sorry he was that the car broke down- I told him it really wasn't HIS fault since there was no way they could have driven the car around for as long as it took for it to die again. He felt bad though. That was nice of him to call. I may send them a Christmas card.
-Jeff and I drove back from Carmel yesterday- he followed me just to make sure everything was ok. As we were attempting to get on 465 we hit....RUSH HOUR! My heart was seriously beating so hard I was nautious- we had to stop and go just about 9 million times and THANK THE LORD everything was fine- but by the time we got to my apartment I was shaking and feeling sick because I was so scared. I've never had a car actually die on me before so now...I feel like petrified that it's going to die all the time- I mean it didn't happen once- it happened three times in 48 hours! But hey- thank God it's fixed, it's running great, and it hasn't died on me. (knock on wood)
Things that I've done this break:
-visited my family- that was great- my sister got sick on X-mas and spent the whole day vomiting, my dad's side of the family came over- blah- they're boring. My mom and I spent most of the time "checking on Kate" so we could hide out. Got to see my brother and my sister who I miss- and when I see them I miss them even more- they're fun.
-Watched the first three episodes of Star Wars (Jeff felt I needed to educated so I promised him I would). I'm watching them in Chronological order, not the way they were made- so I don't get confused.
-I got to see Laura and Kaira over break but that was all- I feel really awful because I didn't see anyone or call anyone- but besides Christmas Eve and Christmas day I was home Monday and Tuesday and my family is very important to me. So I realize that some of my friends might be mad at me but...you just have to understand that my family is the most important thing to me and most of you get to see your families all the time OR were home for a few weeks- I was home for 5 days.
-Cleaned the apartment..messed up the apartment...getting ready to RE-clean the apartment.
-Been working at American Eagle- it's so nice- the people are wonderful and I feel very comfortable. (Thanks again Caleb for getting me the job! Your a gay star!)
Alright- I'm off to do something productive- going to Carmel tonight to hang out with Jeff's friends- peace out!
