the end
whoa my journal says I havent updated since july 8th and since then I've done quite a lot so:
-went on a cruise for my moms bday which was awesssommmeee. We went all around the mediterranean--sicily, italy, france, greece--and it was awesome! one of the highlights: the beautiful capri--
and at the ancient greek ruins of delos--the beautiful...er, large fallus of dionysus--
also, the drinking age was 18 which was awesome, and now I have a taste for wine.
-back home ed, mantas, sue, brit, and I went to montauk at around 10:30 pm on wednesday. Needless to say, it was awesome. Among the hilarities, was us witnessing a drunk driver get pulled over, seeing the stars while sitting on a bench next to the lighthouse, huddling for warmth on the jetti, playing on the playground at 3am, and watching mantas get mauled by racoons (almost). We got back at 5 and woke up no later than a few hours later to meet for lunch at carnival to see the cornell ppl off.
-went to see stars, the decembrists, and death cab for cutie in central park with my brother and sister and her friend. Initially I was doing it to be a chaperone, but in the end, I had a reallly good time. btw decembrists and stars were really good and I am gonna have to start listening to that stuff.
-I'm on the fifth harry potter. enough said.
Thats about it, I'm leaving next friday (27th) for balmer to help out with orienation, so if I dont see you, have a great year!!!
