Has anything strange and unusual happened to you today?
Well, the fact that I'm about to update my LJ is very unusual over here. Lol. I hope y'all are doing well. I currently have a husky in my face. She's hoping I'll share my popcorn with her. I just read my last post that I published here... I said I planned on writing more in 2023. What a joke! It's been well over a year and then some since I made that post. Therefore, I will not be making any promises on my return after this post.
Anyways, I hope life has been well for those of you that have remained on my friends list. Life has been pretty good down here in the south. Tomorrow is my first day of my new job! I'm pretty excited about this path. It's been a while since I've been excited to work. I'll be working from home as a remote dental assistant. Isn't that wild?! Whoever thought there would be such a thing? I never thought digital dentistry would be a thing, but I'm happy that it is.
Let's see...what next? Tomorrow is also Brent's birthday. Yep, we're still married. And yes.. I'm still happy with him. So yay! Uprooting my entire life to be with him is still holding it's weight in being the right thing to do. Honestly, I don't see myself ever moving back to Indiana. We love it down here, and Alabama has easily become home.
Nora will be 8 in June. Yes, I said 8! Time is just flying by....waaaaaaay too fast. I swear she's going on 16 though. She still has so much sass, but she's a sweetheart as well. 2nd grade math has been a little tough for her, so she'll be attending math camp for a bit this summer. Her Dad wasn't super happy about that, but he understands the importance of it.
After 4 years of exploring my poor mental heatlh, I'm finally to a point where meds are no longer needed. Hooooooray. I mean...realistically, I should take ADHD meds my entire life, but I couldn't find one that worked for me. The way I look at it, I've lived with this my entire life so I think I can manage without it. It's been a long time where I've felt like myself so the no meds has been really nice.
Also, my readings have been ON POINT! If I promised you a reading years ago, but never came through PLEASE LET ME KNOW. I promise to get that to you!! Welp, it's been nice catching up. I'd love to do this more often. Hopefully now that I'll be working from home I can get more LJ time in. I'm off to catch up on your posts now. <3
