My life has gone through a drastic change within the past week. Remember that office I interviewed at last Friday? Well, I did my working interview yesterday, and they offered me the job right on the spot! So, I was going to do the right thing and give the Lincoln Park office a two week notice. I had the intention of doing so anyway. :o)
I went to work this morning with my heart racing. As soon as I walked in the building, I nearly had a panic attack. Everyone was in such a crummy mood, and as I was sitting there working, I thought to myself...what am I doing? I have an amazing opportunity at an office that's even more amazing than I imagined. Do I really need to give notice? That's when I decided that respect is earned when given. The LP office has NEVER shown me one ounce of respect. EVER. I've been talked down to, worked like crazy, and for barely a thank you. I had problems with that office from day one. So I did what an other sane person would do, and I walked out without looking back. I felt like a million bucks immediately afterward. Everything happens for a reason, and everything just fell into place with this new office. I'm now a proud employee of Chicago Smiles. :)
