(no subject)
How is everyone? I've been procrastinating lately with this whole live journal thing. Its not like I don't have anything to write, but just putting my thoughts together like this is a task for me. My boss took the day off today, so no pressure to work too hard!! Things have been improving lately with me. I've finally joined the Y--$40.00 a month. At first I wasn't approved in receiving financial assistance cuz I made too much money, but the person who was evaluating my expenses knew me from my previous years at the Y. I use to be a youth leader in my teens and was a member since 1995. I basically told the guy, its unfair for the Y to decline me because at the end of my expenses I'm still at a positive. He's like the people that request assistance have a negative at the end of the month. Then why are they coming to the Y?? He finally took to my plea and I also got the administration fee of like $98.00 waived!!! I'm a sales person in the making!! lol.
On other news, I went for an interview this week for E/talk Daily/MTV "Production Coordinator"..they had over 2000 applicants apply to the post and they were thinking of interviewing 20people. I really want this job, it sounds perfect for me. Not only will I be doing the usual adminstration tasks but I will be able to produce the bumpers and teases for the show. Its a step up and hopefully will lead to producing!! Crossing my fingers!
