GLOVE YOUR HAND IN MINE for 31_days Series: 家庭教師ヒットマン・REBORN!» Katekyo Hitman Reborn Characters: 69+96 Rating: G-PG All characters belong to Amano Akira.
I found this (very belatedly) through a community, and I may or may not have been ensnared by your Durga connection to the trident :) But I'm glad I read it. Wow. This is exquisitely done.
I haven't really been involved in this fandom for long, but I find myself wishing more people would write about Mukuro in the Estraneo family, what he was like before he became the inaccessible figure he is now. Not necessarily a full backstory--but as you did, fleshing out exactly the intriguing details, establishing how dangerous a character he was even at an early age. And in so few words! Amazing.
Mukuro's reminiscence on what he was like when he looks at Chrome is especially well-done...and, unusually for this pairing, not disturbing! I can't write them without making it creepy as hell, but this is oddly natural, and was a lovely bit of detail.
Thank you for this--two different environments, evoking very distinct moods and tied together so appropriately. I'll definitely be checking out what else you've written!
