I honestly felt like a kid this weekend. I fell asleep early on Friday night, and woke up to see a blanket of snow covering everything I could see from my window. I have never seen so much snow in my life! Mary and I frolicked through the snow. Our snow excursion lead us to the Quad, the Union to warm up by the fire, and Genos.
I babysat with Claire on Saturday night. The four kids were so cute and so much fun. It made me realize that having a family is definitely one of my long term goals. I know that problems that seem big right now are just a tiny bump, compared to the big picture of things that actually matter. The catch phrase of the night was "it's whatever". We watched Cinderella (my favorite animated Disney movie) and Claire and I got more into it than the kids. It was definitely wholesome fun.
I am so blessed to have such wonderful friends here in Fayetteville, and wonderful family near and far.
