May or may not have gotten that job, we'll all have to wait and see. until then, I finished a glove.... except apparently, while I knit pretty consistently, I knit pretty consistently too big. Soooooooooooo... while I finished a glove in two days, I finished a glove that wouldn't even probably fit a man, much less my tiny hands. Which means I suck

don't give up on the gloves! your thumb gusset just looks a little too big (your gauge was PROBABLY off too)

don't let 'em go to waste though! toss 'em in the washing machine with a pair of jeans, hot wash, cool rinse, and TADA felted mitts.

but my gauge wasn't off, and in order to not give up on them, I would need to make another excessively too big one, and have a washer that used warm water.

you can felt by hand as well. take the mits in the bath with you and run hot water over 'em and add a little soap and smoosh them all up an drub them and stuff. you want the fibers to shrink and lock together :)
