My dad got a letter, that being a politcal advertisement for Proposition 2
it states
What does Prop. 2 do?
When passed, prop.2 will add section 34 to article 1 of the texas constitution- where it will PROTECT families. it reads:
A) marriage in this state shall consist only of the union of one man and one woman.
b) this state or a political subdivision of this state may not create or recognize any legal status identical or similar to marriage.
on tuesday, novemeber 8, you can vote for the constitutional amendment that will PROTECT tradicitional marriage in Texas.
Prop 2 just makes sense.
marriage was created before there were any laws. but now we need a law to PROTECT it from being redisgned to fit ANYONE's fancy. If two men or two women can marry, what's to PREVENT THREE, FOUR, OR MORE? That dosen't make sense ( ok jesus christ are we debating bygamy or a gay pandemic, sorry i couldnt resist that) . You can help marriage in Texas remain only between one man and one woman.

Your depriving them of the right to live their life the way they feel is want
your denying them the liberty to marry someone they love
