LOOOOOOng Sunday Post
Yesterday was pretty fun! I got to sleep in (9am) and despite waking up to another bitch session between my mom and step-father, the day went pretty well. We just avoided the asshole all day. Mom and I went and saw Shrek 2… it’s so funny I was willing to see it a second time, just for my Mommy! We had the ongoing college talk on the way… she’s mad and happy at the same time that I’m going to go to UH my first year or so. Then we went to Sears so she could get Ronnie’s father’s day present and told me I could get a new bathing suit.
After my little jealousy kick the other day I was determined to find a two piece that looked decent on me. I’m proud of myself. I bought two! They both have the halter neck line and an extra support band for my slightly larger-than-normal-sized boobs and the bottoms come down low… they’re actually a lot more flattering than the tankinis and one-pieces I’ve been wearing since I can remember. I can’t remember ever wearing a two piece. The last time I even tried one on was before 6th grade and my mom told me it looked bad and I bawled my eyes out. Well, six years later I’m getting the “you’re showing too much cleavage” lecture instead. I’m getting less insecure about my scars. They’re not going away… I’ve learned to live with them.
So then I was anxious to go swim. I couldn’t find anyone to go with me! So, my guy (who has the cold I had a week ago, poor thing) decided he wanted to. So, he actually started feeling better once he got out of the house and moved around since he had been laying in bed all day. So, we go swim and my little sister and her friend decide to join us.
It scares me to think of the type of people they’re probably going to be when they get to high school. It scares me to think how many of the kids she knows now will be strung out on drugs, have kids or dead by the time they graduate… scary.
Anyhoo, so then all four of us went bowling since I couldn’t get hold of Alissa and Cody, who were supposed to go with us… It was fun! Chloe is such a bitch though… grrr.
Now I sit here eating spaghetti-o’s and I’m going to jump in the shower. Today is going to be crazy. I’ve already been to work (at 6:30 this morning), to my guys, swimming and now I’ve got to go to cheer practice, then work, then work out tonight! Wow! Fun day!
