after a lengthy discussion with peej and rodg about marriage, religion, gender construction, feminism, single sex education versus co-educational institutes, stereotypes and america, myself and leigh depart as the building is closing.

we walk across the road together and suddenly she bursts out:

"i knew that woman was a bloody feminist - she's so hairy!"

and she was perfectly serious.
