Actually I think you'll find many other religions can be interpreted to justify those actions too. Religion doesn't kill people, people kill people.

i wasn't bashing christianity, or any other religion for how they justify things like that- i was just trying to clarify that i feel the opposite to strong and honourable, in my situation.
