Over a decade late, The Obsession has finally claimed me, too. And yes, some of you might recognize your names in here. :)
Name: Lakota
Electric-Type
My current Captain, the most dependable and dangerous Poke'mon I have. Electrocutes almost anything with Shock Wave, and what isn't shocked or chewed up gets obliterated with Hyper Beam instead.
MALE LUXRAY
LEVEL 44
Name: Tazel
Water | Steel-type
My starter Poke'mon. Packs a heck of a punch for a steel/water type, not to mention his #1 defense level makes him a tank.
MALE EMPOLEON
LEVEL 43
Name: Comet
Normal | Flying-type
Speedy bird with some deadly HP-blasting bruiser attacks for a flying-type
MALE STARAPTOR
LEVEL 40
Name: Faeon
Fire-type
Swift and strong, and definitely fought to earn that evolution level. Fire Blast often reduces many stubborn foes to ash.
FEMALE RAPIDASH
LEVEL 42
Name: Taross
Poison | Dark-type
Gains some pretty hard hits, plus the threat of toxic damage with Sludge Bomb. Used to have a combination of Screech and Fury Swipes which I affectionately called 'Raep Tyme'.
FEMALE SKUNTANK
LEVEL 37
Name: Pikacha
Electric-type
Deceptively quick with the potential for an even stronger electric-based attack than Lakota, once I get her levels up. (And one of her moves is the special-attack-boosting ability 'Nasty Plot'. Yes, this is indeed Pikacha. :9 )
FEMALE PIKACHU
LEVEL 34
Name: Jonesy
Water-type
Raises her attack power automatically and hits hard. I need to get her to learn some better support/defensive abilities, however. Plus, she's friggin' cute!
FEMALE AZUMARILL
LEVEL 26
Name: Illumnina
Ice-type
My only Ice-type, someone I'm grooming to be a great secondary.
FEMALE SNEASEL
LEVEL 35
Name: Felix
Water-type
My backup water-type with Surf; wiry and potentially tough to hit.
MALE FLOATZEL
LEVEL 22
Name: Bandit
Fight | Steel-type
My newest addition, hatched and brought straight up from a lvl 1 Riolu. Bandit's high attack could already KO lvl 40+ Poke'mon back at lvl 26. He'll eventually be the spearpoint of my second fighter-type-based team for taking on the Elite Four.
MALE LUCARIO
LEVEL 28
I'm going to keep working on the variety of my types: three water-types and virtually no grass, ground, psychic or ghost types is going to leave me open in duels. If you've got either Poke'mon Diamond or Pearl and would like to set up a trade or friendly duel, let me know; we'll swap friend codes. :) It is a shame that my second favorite Poke'mon, Growlithe, isn't available without FireRed. But ahhwell, there's always trades or add-on cartridges..
I've also been apprised of the existence of the brand new
Kingdom Hearts TCG. I may finally have found a card game worth my time of collecting for!
