so saturday i left at 1ish and got to kristas house at 6ish. yay for simsbury, ct ... it's a cooL town - i love the old houses and the woods and big hills. much better than the drab of countless subdivisions of good ole rochester. i can't wait to live in an old house with a wraparound porch when i'm older. anyways we just chilled out - i met one of her friends...who happens to be the oldest child of 10. lets just say CRAZiNESS at that house- but it was AWESOME. we went to church this morning and then...

US WOMENS SOCCER GAME. wow wow wow wow. ok so we get there and find bess...who had AMAZING seats. so we just sat behind her even tho we didn't have those tickets...thinking we would just get kicked out when the game started. yea, then julie foudy's SISTER walks up and was like yea, these are our seats, but you can stay because two people didn't show. ok thanks julie's sister. we had a conversation with her by the way. hahahaha. then kristine lilly's (my freaking hero) whole family was about two rows ahead of us. and then half way through the first half ANSON DORRANCE THE HEAD COACH OF UNC WALKS RIGHT IN and sits about five rows ahead of us! WHAAAT?!!! freaking awesome. too bad iw as too chicken to get his autograph. ok so that was cooL - but the game was AWESOME!!! three goals by US... the first goal was sick complete with a back heel pass from hamm to wagner. the second goal wambach connected with hamm for a basically open net goal - but it was cooL because it was mia's last goal on us soil. and then wambach had a NASTY header off a corner kick. it was a great game. i loved it. definitely worth the five hour drive there and back in less than 24 hours.

all in all, a great weekend. so pumped for season to start in two weeks.
