everyone here wants to see sweeney todd right? right.

you should see it. i just saw it. and it was every once as good as i expected it to be. in fact, better.

so, you should see it. several times.

though, be forewarned, if you don't like bloody movies...you probably won't like it.

but i like it. a lot.

I have one question: did Depp do justice to the fact that it's a musical? As much as I want to think of Johnny as the quintessential, can-do-no-wrong actor, that bit makes me nervous.

it is good! i was sooo worried it wouldn't be. i've been watching the trailer on youtube for about a month. i'm seeing it the day after christmas.
do you still work at the cinema in N attleboro? my sis want to come an she's 14 so do my rents need to buy her ticket or will having a 17 or 18 year old work?

technically your parents are supposed to...very few people who work there actually care. umm...if mary is the one ripping tickets your parents should be there. she usually is the only one who actually cards. short middle aged lady with short frizzy hair.

and also, our "policy" is that the parents are supposed to stay in the building, so if mary does card you, if you say your parents are seeing something else and they've already gone in, that should work. (maybe...i dunno how she'd react to that. it's worth a shot)

anyway i like the new layout.
and....gory movies freak me out. i don't wanna spend 10 bucks just to hide my eyes the whole time. :( lol

it's not bad...it's like...ketchup squirting out of prof. snape's neck. and borat's neck.

and theres only like three scenes with that much blood in it.

and really. i think it's worth it. the idea of johnny depp singing to his razors is such an amazingly sexy concept, that not wanting to see this movie solely because of the brief bloody scenes is just plain unacceptable.
