A heart to heart would definitely be welcome.
As far as the existence of demons and supernatural warfare, etc... Randy has a good point in that they don't exist where God exists. Since I am a Christian, I am filled with the Holy Spirit, which is essentially God (through the Trinity). Anyways, since demons are also essentially sinful, and becuase God and sin cannot exist in the same place, then as long as we are Christians and have accepted Jesus into our lives, we can never be possessed by a demon or evil spirit. We are safe from that attack. our bodies are safe, I should say. BUT since we do exist in this world and because God has handed control over worldly affairs to Satan, then we are under constant attack and bombardment from the devil himself, throgh our environment. Think about it...what is worse than a fallen Christian? Satan puts footfalls and traps all around us in hopes to snare us into abandoning our beliefs and sin, even for a split second. This is why we must constantly be on guard against such attacks and be aware of the different environments we are placing ourselves in. The devil utilizes the world and its many distractions to take our mind off of God. This is called temptation. Jesus Himself was tempted by the devil, however, it is how we handle the temptation and react to it where we show which side we are on. Anyways...now I am getting deep. The point is, spiritual warfare exists all around us, but my argument is that it exists ESPECIALLY around those who walk with God. Because think about it, in army terms, we would rather capture or kill an enemy officer than a regular old private. Right? And aren't we officers in God's army? That is my opinion. Whether I am on the right track, who knows.
Sarah...your posts make me think too much. I have a headache. I am going over to Hitchcock tomorrow night to have a heart to heart with Mandy...Join us?

Parker <3 You are truely adorable - i would be there in a second for a heart to heart, but alas im on duty - but there'll be other chances for sure :) .. I totally level with you on the whole Spiritual Warfare subject; I recently joined a small group, and last monday it came up.. and I honestly expirienced about a minute of complete terror thinking about how smart the enemy can be. I think it may have been triggered by Andrea saying "yeah, we think that only god has a window into our minds - but it goes both way.. the devil knows exactly what we're thinking." Yes, that struck me pretty hard. Thinking that the Devil has an all access pass to every insecurity, fear, secret... ahhh! Anyways, <3 to <3 soon. ~Sarah
