I love weekends
This weekend was awesome. I went down to Kennett Square to see Steve and just had an amazing time. We went out with one of his friends for drinks at Applebee's on Friday night and went back to his place and watched Mr. Deeds. No matter how many times I see that movie, it always cracks me up.
Saturday we went to the mall and other than that just kinda lounged around until later that night when we went out to dinner with his parents for his birthday (which is on Monday). We went to this Irish pub in West Chester which was actually impressive; they served variations of authentic Irish food, which was delicious. Then we walked around West Chester a little bit. I thought it was really cute, kind of like if you took one street in Harrisburg and made a downtown area out of it.
Then today we went to the Delaware Museum of Natural History, which I really enjoyed. They had a photography exhibit of different animals in Africa. The photos were taken by this guy who took up this huge project of photographing whild animals (obviously), and for each different set of pictures there was a description of the animals pictured, how he did it and his feelings of them, and some of them were quite funny. Then that ended and I had to go back to Lancaster :o(
I've just got to say that I've never felt this way before. My feelings for Steve are just so incredibly overwhelming, and they grow stronger everytime we're together. I even notice that in him; he's become so much more comfortable with me, to the point where, when we first met, I would have never guessed that this side of him existed. He's just brought out the best in me in so many ways and has helped me to become so much more open to new things. I just hope I'm making as much of an impact on him as he is on me.
