(no subject)
This was the most fucking awesome thing I've been in! The weather was nice when I went into the store, but when I left... rain and hail and wind and thunder and lightening... The Works! You could barely see the road. The wind was blowing so hard I watched a tree actually fall across the other lanes of the road beside me. Thankfully no one was there at that moment. It looked like those pictures you see of hurricanes in the south... and I was driving in it and laughing like a madman! I felt so alive!!!
Oops... there goes an ambulence.

Oh, and Wolverine was pretty good. Kinda messy plotwise, but not bad. And Gambit.... *sigh* Visually, he worked for me. Unfortunately he lost me when he opened his mouth. Remy is supposed to be Cajun, not merely from the south. Where was his Cajun accent? Where were his charactaristic colloquialisms? Where was his suave and sexy charm? Instead they gave him a strictly Southern accent, and even that occasionally sounded off. He seemed.... flat. *shakes head sadly* And I won't even get into the whole telekenisis shit with the cards. WTF??
I had such high hopes.
Of course, I should have known better than to go into this movie as a comic geek rather than simply a viewer. As a veiwer, kinda fun movie. As a comic fan.... *grimaces*
